About Dr. McCracken

Bio

Arienne McCracken, Ph.D., is an assistant teaching professor in the Apparel, Merchandising, and Design program at Iowa State University. Her research focuses on dress in cultural and societal contexts, especially as manifested in the online world, as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning. She currently teaches courses in styling, apparel product development, retail merchandising, and cultural perspectives of dress.
